Please join us for a hybrid Zoom meeting in person at the Don Montgomery Centre or by Zoom.
Our meeting room has been renewed for the next year at the Don Montgomery Community Centre (Eglinton and Kennedy) Scarborough.
We are scheduled for Tuesday evenings so we can plan extra events such as the group build etc.
Group Buy
This is a Hybrid Zoom special meeting to discuss the DL2MAN group buy.
We are at 16 units and only need 4 more to reach our goal of 20 to obtain the discount.
During this meeting the orders will be summarized and confirmed.
We will also arrange for payments based on the US$ amounts with a second payment of the exchange rate which will be determined at the time we place the order with our supplier.
This way everyone pays the same exchange rate which will be determined when we place the order.
For estimation purposes currently 100.00 US$ is selling for 139.00 CA$ at the Royal bank. This is painful but out of our control.

The exchange rate for the US$ amount is going to be calculated at the time we place the order. Budget accordingly using the daily exchange rate to Estimate your actual cost.
There is a possibility that GST may be applied, so worst cast budget for that. We will know when the product arrives.
The firmware for each transceiver is tied into your call sign which you will use to obtain updates. Therefore the call sign field is required. If ordering multiple units add additional call slgns in your return email.
Please try to submit the forms before out next Zoom meeting which is going to be August 22nd.
Payment options will be presented at the Zoom meeting.
We are hoping to exceed the minimum 20 radio order to get the discount and free shipping so please tell your friends.

New DIY Tech
Thanks for showing interest in this project. We will have SARC group assembly meetings to put these kits together once the product arrives.
We also have to prepare for club executive elections. Please keep that in mind so we can plan for next year and also your contribution to the club is greatly appreciated.
