Folks, some additional locations have been added to the spring training dates. Specifically, we have added two sessions in Huron County on April 25, confirmed the venue in Dufferin County on May 15 and added sessions in Belleville on May 25 and Renfrew on June 5. Training in Northwestern Ontario will take place during the week of June 3 with specific dates and venues being announced in the next training update.
Thanks to all of you who have replied to the [email protected] account with the session you plan to attend or emailed Bill Hoad at [email protected] with your intent to attend the Sarnia session. If you plan on attending a session but haven't yet RSVP'd, please feel free to do so in the coming days.

2013 MS Walk – Call for Volunteers
The Scarborough MS Walk will take place on Sunday, May 5. Once again, SARC is providing communication support and we need licensed radio amateurs who can spare a few hours to help. You do not need to be a member of SARC to participate.
This year we are at a new location: Willow Park Junior Public School, 45 Windover Dr, Scarborough. Please plan to arrive between 8:00 and 8:30 AM.
The route has also changed: see MS Walk route map.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Ralph at ve3vxy at arrl.net.
Vincent Graham VE3AXB, SK
Vincent Graham, VE3AXB, of Whitby, Ontario became a silent key on Monday, January 14, 2013. Vincent was the sole surviving member, one of the group called "The Original Five" who founded the Scarborough Amateur Radio Club on April 23, 1946. Vince was 91 at the time of his passing and was a veteran of WW2, Air Force. Vincent had not been a member of the Club for some time but he was presented with a plaque by the club in recognition of his participation at the founding. A memorial service is planned for May, 2013.
