Hello all you (tr)uSDX builders - SARC is having Tuneup Tuesday.
On Tuesday Feb 20th, 2024 at 8:00 in the Don Montgomery Seniors Room we are going to have a radio tune up session.
Bring along your radio and get the coils tuned up for proper output and harmonic suppression.
This is the final tweak to make these radios really perform. The winding of the coils is critical to the final performance of the radio and can be tweaked for optimum results.
Here is a video showing how to tweak the coils.
A Scalar Network Analyzer will be available to tune the coils for 2nd harmonic rejection and some dummy loads to optimize the power output as shown in the video.
So bring along your kit and we will have some fun doing the final tweaks.
