Hello SARC and Friends
First of all:
Well that was a fantastic field Day. A big thank you to all who participated and helped with the setup and tear down. It was great to see everyone and the all our teamwork that made this a very exciting and successful field day.
Thanks Dave VE3SVL and the Bluffers Park Yacht Club for providing the site and the clever use of your boat mast for the long wire antenna. Ingenuity counts and should earn extra points.
This year was a lot smoother than the previous year and next year promises to be even better. A big shout out to TARC for their assistance and participation which made this Field Day a fun and outstanding event.
Tuesday's Meeting:
This will be a Hybrid meeting both Zoom and in person at the Don Montgomery Centre Seniors Room. (Kennedy And Eglinton)
This meeting will be focusing on the (tr)uSDX transceiver group buy project. I will present an order form which we will use for organizing each persons transceiver request listing the options they want.
We can review the form to ensure it will meet the needs and is easy to understand. We also need to discuss how the funds are to be received and processed for the order.
This will include discussions about deposits, payment process, taxes and delivery.
Please bring along your ideas so we can make this a successful project.
