I found these photographs in a photo envelope. However, did not write a date on anything, so I'm not sure what year it was. I'm guessing 1988 based on what I see in the photographs (and who I see in them). Also, not everybody's name is indicated, so there are a few unknowns. The Scarborough Amateur Radio Club created the CQ-NR Trophy in 1966. It was presented to the winner of the annual competition for Scarborough members operating in the combined A.R.R.L. Novice Roundup and S.A.R.C. CW contest. The trophy was donated to the club by Ed Charlton, VE3FCE, and Jim Ashfield, VE3FOE.

In 1977, the Scarborough Amateur Radio Club hosted the ARRL National Convention here in Toronto Ontario.
Members of the Toronto FM Communications Society (TFMCS) are invited to attend the annual general meeting and picnic on Sunday, September 20 at the Skyloft Ski Resort, home of VE3RPT.
The AGM starts at 10 AM, and the picnic starts at noon.

Hope you all had a good summer. The first fall meeting will be on Monday, September 14 at 7 PM in our usual meeting room on the upper level of the Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre, 2467 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough, near Kennedy subway. Free parking is available.
