I hope you survived the long weekend and had a great time at field day. Hopefully everyone had a good long weekend and got a few extra moments to relax.
Dave Haw VA3TRK sent me a link to post your field day pictures and to see others that have been posted.
Please when you have a chance add yours to the collection and to relive the moments.
This next meeting will offer the opportunity to discuss a few club things.
There have been a few persons who would prefer to hold these meetings on Tuesday night and that can be done to encourage more to join the group.
Perhaps we can also have the zoom meetings every 2nd week through the summer.
We would like to get back to the Montgomery Centre in September so we should discuss a day, time and frequency for the club meetings.
The Thursday evening net is not attracting many logins so we may discuss discontinuing it for the summer.
If you have some ideas for a summer tour or get together, please pass them forward.
In case you can't make it to this meeting please send your thoughts along in an email.
We will have a look at a couple of Zoom training videos to help you get the most out of the platform. There a quite a few hidden gems to make screen sharing and other features more useful.
I will try to set up a poll asking questions to gather some responses. And then there is also the whiteboard feature. These are some things to explore to make the meetings more interesting.
i am looking forward to see our field day results when they are available. I will post another email when they are ready.
