Hello SARC and Friends
Hello SARC
Attached is the news letter for Antenna Day. This should be a fun event.
We are continuing our series of weekly SARC Zoom meetings to discuss the club events and organization.
We are fast approaching our Antenna Day (this Saturday) and Field Day so we have many things to discuss during tomorrow's meeting.
Antenna Day:
It is now time to go over the details for our first Antenna Day June 11th.
What to bring. - power source, radios, test equipment, food and antennas.
Who is bringing what?
Location has been set at Glen Abbey Park at the foot of Morningside avenue.
All those interested can come including our friends from the Toronto club.
This a social event so interested XYL's are welcome.
Field Day:
What to bring. - power source, radios, test equipment, food, shelter and antennas.
Who is bringing what? Ian Clarke has offered an extensive list of The Toronto Club resources.
When to start, Noon has been suggested and wrapping up around 6 or 7 pm.
Location has been set (thanks to Dave VE3SVL) at Bluffers Park Yacht Club at the foot of Brimley avenue.
This is a joint effort including our friends from the Toronto club.
Ian Clarke will be our point contact for the inter club coordination.
RAC:
Allan Boyd VE3AJB will provide us some answers to our questions from last meeting.
Please bring your ideas to the meeting. We will have these meetings weekly so please feel welcome to attend, express your views and help the club forge ahead.
I am looking forward to Antenna Day and Field day.
