This is an announcement of a Hybrid Seniors Room 2nd Floor Don Montgomery 2467 Eglinton Ave East and Zoom SARC meeting on April 29 this coming Tuesday. Please remember that the from parking lot is closed so you need to enter from the back door. There is an elevator to the second floor.
Thanks to all who attended the SARC pot luck. The excellence and variety of the food was enjoyed by all. Thanks Brian Reid for organizing the event and to Adrian VA3NNA for the idea. It was nice to put faces to names and overall an wonderful get together which we will have to do again.

Antenna Project:
Let's continue our discussion on the SARC Antenna and tuner design build project. I have found the wire winders that we saw in the video where the travel clothesline winder was converted into a nice way of coiling the antenna wire and connecting the winders to increase the antenna length. They come at the horrific price of 4.99 each. Stranded 22 AWG stranded insulated wire is available at SAYAL for 14.95 per 100 feet or 102.95 for 1000 feet. Banana Jack 1.95 and Banana Plug 1.95.
I will show them at the meeting.
Antenna Day: Saturday May 24th or 31st.
Another annual antenna day will be held in the same location Grey Abbey park,180 Greyabbey Trail, Scarborough, ON M1E 1V9. Either the last or second last Saturday of May weather permitting. Hopefully we won't be plagued by bad weather like last years attempts to nail down the date.
Field Day: June 28 and 29:
We will be joined again by our friends at the Toronto Amateur Radio Club at our usual location Bluffers Park Yacht Club. Again a big thanks to BPYC and Dave Blizzard VE3SVL for the gracious use of their facility.
We should start preparations so we can have a smooth and fun Field Day.
Hammond Museum of Radio:
This is still on the table and I will contact the museum to get an update on their opening date.
