Hello SARC and Friends
This is a quick announcement of the Hybrid SARC meeting on Feb 11 this
coming Tuesday both by Zoom and at the Don Montgomery Centre.
Hammond Museum of Radio:
Well it appears the construction work at Hammond is like the Eglinton
Crosstown LRT and is way behind schedule. The museum will not be
available until May. Very disappointing.
So let's come up with some suggestions for a group trip while we are
waiting. The Oshawa Tank Museum is one suggestion. Also April 12 is the
Durham ARC hamfest.
Antenna Project:
Let's continue our discussion on the SARC Antenna design build project.
SARC Potluck:
Adrian VA3NNA had a great idea about getting together at the Don
Montgomery Centre for social where we get together for a bit of fun.
Just a social evening. No formal meeting, no agenda, just tea/coffee
and nibbles. Maybe a bit of potluck for the catering?
We have access in the room for a full kitchen to cook or for warm ups.
Let's discuss this on Tuesday. We have Tuesday Feb 25th available at the
centre.
