Hello SARC and Friends
Thanks again to our TARC friends for joining us this year on our field
day journey.
This meeting will be the final planning meeting before Field Day so we
can put the final brush strokes on the event.
Last meeting we went over the rules and discussed some ideas concerning
the station setup and locations.
Attached is a site photo with some preliminary locations for the
stations, the facilities we can use and the Saturday locations that are
reserved for the BPYC celebration of life gathering.
We will have a brief site visit at 4:30 PM on Monday afternoon to meet
with Dave Blizzard VE3SVL to fine tune our site plans. Please
participate in this site planning if you have some ideas on the
utilization of the space and setup. Send me a quick email if you are
coming to get the gate code.

etc. on Friday afternoon / evening. Your assistance is greatly
appreciated for the setup and tear down. Please indicate your

This year we will be using the VE3WE call sign and the ARRL section of
GH (Golden Horseshoe) for the QSO exchange. The GOTA station will be
using the TARC VE3TNC call sign.
ALSO IMPORTANT
We had a successful QRP transceiver build project with the (tr)uSDX kits
this spring. Well we are planning another build coming up in the very
near future. Please see the attached photo for a prototype view of an
even bigger, better and tastier all band all mode receiver kit. It
should only take a few hours in a 350 degree oven to complete the build.
