Amy Bautista

We are sad to report that Amy Bautista has died. As Nick VE3EBC mentioned at the June meeting, Amy was killed in a road accident while visiting family in the Philippines. Our condolences to her family and friends.

Amy was a member of SARC between 2008 and 2011. Although she ultimately decided not to become a licensed ham radio operator, she was an active participant in Field Day and other club events. Here's a picture from the 2009 Field Day at Bruce's Mill Conservation Area.
