Nick’s VE3EBC Presentation
Nick presented and demonstrated an 80m Twin Lead loop antenna that he’s been experimenting with. The antenna is from an article in Practical Wireless Magazine (UK) and was written by Richard Morris (??) (??). This is a simple and very portable antenna using a 16ft length of twin lead, a coil and a capacitor. The results were quite good, and a number of members commented on the good reception that Nick was getting even in the community centre.

After a shortened break

Ralph VE3VXY auctioned off the tins of parts donated to the club by Jim Ashfield VE3FOE – sold to Nick for $21

Thanks to all the club members who donated prizes for the raffle.

Ian VA3IGD moved to adjourn at 9:10
