Rod VE3SOY has sent the letter to management. Nick, Rod and Ralph did a site inspection last week. Any installation would be done by city personnel. Earle VE3KCO asked what antennas we propose to install. We hope to install a dipole for HF and a dual bander for VHF/UHF. Peter VE3FJI asked about costs. Tony VE3FDU asked whether the antenna would require manual tuning. We expect that we will use an antenna tuner to avoid this. Nick pointed out that this building may be used as an emergency shelter, and if members make themselves available for emergency communications we may be able to get the work done for free.
Joe VA3JDX presented a video from National Geographic – Search for Battleship Bismarck.

Joe brought in a sample jacket from Karsuh, with nylon exterior and polar fleece lining. Cost is Large sizes (XXL and up) will be charged extra since the manufacturer will need to make a new pattern. We may need to set up a fitting at their office for those who want different size .
