activist and the president of the Scarborough Association of Seniors,

a short talk about his group and its activities on behalf of
local senior citizens.

MS Walk (Bob VE3IEL):

The walk took place on April 19, starting around 10 AM and finishing
about 12:15 PM. The route followed park trails from Cedarbrae Collegiate
Institute to Birkdale Community Centre and back. About 12 ham radio
operators provided communications for the walk, including members of
SARC and ARES. James VE3EMT operated the net control station and we used
VE3TOR repeater for communications.

63rd Anniversary and Awards night will be on April 27.

RAC Canada Day contest:

Since the community centre is closed on July 1, Joe VA3JDX suggested we
use Seven Oaks park instead. Since not many members made it to the
meeting tonight we will bring it up again at the anniversary night.
