President Ralph Muecke VE3VXY called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.
Reminder of elections to be held at next meeting followed by the Christmas party.
Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority has informed us that they are closing the Heber Down Conservation Area for group camping, because they are not able to secure the site. This means we need to find an alternate site for Field Day. To be discussed in the new year.
Bill VE3PA is still learning the ins and outs of his new Elecraft KX3. There is an article about it in a recent issue of QST.
Rod VE3SOY continues to receive reports for the CW beacon. Perhaps we could post the logs on the website.
Bob VE3IEL will give archive material to Gord VE3CNA.
Ralph brought in a turnstile antenna (satellite/NOAA). He and Malcolm VE3BGD have been experimenting with D-Star networking on 1.2 GHz.
Nick VE3EBC is working on a remote operation setup at his farm using WIMAX service from Xplornet.
New 220 MHz net for Toronto ARES at 8 PM Sunday on VE3BEG (TFMCS).
