Last night the club held elections for the 2012 Board of Directors and Executive Panel. This was the first time in recent years that we had more than one candidate for several of the positions. Here is a list of the new Executive. President: Ralph Muecke VE3VXY/VE3CIW Vice-President: Luc Seguin VA3LMS Secretary: Ray Chow VE3ZXC [...] This is a reminder of our coffee night at Tim Hortons, 75 Ellesmere Rd (between Victoria Park and Pharmacy, outside Parkway Mall). We’ll be there on Tuesday, July 12 starting around 7 PM. Hope you can drop by. Last night we had our elections and Christmas party. All positions were open for election, but since we had no more than one nomination for each, there was no need for ballots. The new executive panel for 2011 is as follows. President – Ralph Muecke VE3VXY/VE3CIW Vice-President – Arpad Vadasz VA3VAD Secretary – Ray Chow [...] On Monday, April 12, Eric Meth (VE3EI) from Icom will be doing a presentation and demo on D-STAR. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM sharp. We are located in the Seniors Lounge at the Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre, 2467 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto (near Kennedy subway). The February 22 meeting is cancelled because of inclement weather. Sorry for the short notice. [...] The community centre will be closed for Thanksgiving, so there is no meeting on October 12. Our next meeting will be on Monday, October 26 at 7 PM. Our next meeting will be on September 28, 2009 at 7 PM in the Seniors Lounge at the Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre. Hope to see you there. Hope you all had a good summer. The first fall meeting will be on Monday, September 14 at 7 PM in our usual meeting room on the upper level of the Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre, 2467 Eglinton Avenue East, Scarborough, near Kennedy subway.
